
Safety rules B-sail sailing school

Everyone on board wears a life jacket.
Dress for colder weather than on land (think 10 degrees colder). Bring rain gear. Keep your phone in a waterproof case. Wear sailing gloves on board. Use sunscreen. Bring a water bottle with you.
Do not consume alcohol or drugs while sailing.
You need to be able to swim.
Tell the instructor if you have a chronic illness or other condition that may affect your safety.
The instructor decides whether the boat can leave port and when the boat needs to enter port.
The instructor determines which sails can be set for safe sailing.
The instructor may reject any student who is not wearing the necessary equipment for weather conditions.
The instructor's instructions must be respected by the student during sailing.
Refrain from sailing if you are sick or do not feel safe with the weather conditions.
